Experience Profile

  • Your experience profile will be used along with your academic grades to assist the admissions committee when applications to the joint program in Catholic Studies for Teachers are being assessed.

    There are four components required to complete your application:
    1. Personal Statement
    2. Resume
    3. Reference Letter

    This application won't be assessed until all components of this profile have been completed and references received.  Please be advised that your referee and parish priest will be emailed regarding their contribution once this form is submitted.

1. My Personal Statement

  • In an essay of no more than 350 words, please indicate why you are interested in the Catholic Studies for Teachers program and how you feel your personal experience to date has contributed to your plans in becoming a teacher. Demonstrating your ability to provide leadership within your peer/age group will be of particular interest.


2. My Resume

  • In the fields below, please outline three work, volunteer, extra-curricular or community service experiences you have which you feel will be a valuable contribution to your goal in becoming a future teacher.┬áDemonstrating your ability to provide leadership within your peer/age group will be of particular interest.

3. My Reference

  • Please provide the contact information of a teacher, counselor, chaplain, or principal who has known you for at least one year and would be able to attest to your suitability as both a future teacher and your enrolment in the Catholic Studies for Teachers degree program.
